Sky Flow: Sunrise Time Lapse, Albany Pine Bush Preserve
The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is a unique and ecologically important natural area. Spanning over 3,200 acres, this preserve offers a varied landscape of rolling sand dunes, pine-scrub forests, and wildflower meadows. Notably, it stands as one of the few remaining inland pine barrens ecosystems in the world, hosting a diverse range of rare and endangered plant and animal species, some of which are found nowhere else. The preserve's dynamic habitats are shaped by fire ecology, with controlled burns playing a crucial role in maintaining the delicate balance of this ecosystem.
